Our move is almost done....

So before we could move we had promised Anna that she could graduate from preschool first. The day after her graduation we took off into our new adventure. Graduation itself was wonderful but I have to say its kind of more meaningful if you have worked for it for 4 years in College and you know its the foundation for your work life. In many ways there are parallels but I am wondering what it does to kids when they get celebrated for doing what kids just do....learn and play. Oh well... we enjoyed it anyway.

this is the pic they showed at graduation.
After a pretty crazy flight with Ms. Lysa, we were exauhsted and ready to touch down in our new surroundings. My sister and family had put up a big sign and were standing on top of the Airport in Friedrichshafen( its a pretty small one) and gave us a big welcome! We all were so exited. I even forgot to take a pic.
They had prepared the flat so nicely that I do not miss my stuff yet.... just the sofas but that is even ok. The kids rooms came out beautifully and we are all very happy. So .... here are some pics.
The view form my kitchen window

This was the view driving to our first outing. Too bad you cannot see the snow covered mountains on that pic,

Lysa loved that you could touch the little goat.

The had so many crazy toys......

Mis sister and the kids on one of the crazy swings

Our Apartment house, we have the ground level......

In the first week we had to give into Anna's wish and visit right away the Castle in Sigmaringen, its from the Hohenzollern.....

Lysa was pretty cranky so we sat and waited for Daddy and Anna to finish their tour of the castle. She loved those little sweet snacks we found....

Anna's first Italian Icecream cup. Yum.....

I love those crannies and nuks all over the places....

Daddy and Anna...
Well, Sigmaringen and Pfullendorf are very old cities. As you can see above they are very quaint and pretty. We enjoy our time right now since Daddy will be gone every week for a while. Chris found a job which requires him to be in a different city and its to far to commute every day. We will see how we work this one out. We are still praying for least amount of separation of the family.
the kids are both back in preschool and they enjoy their days there. My next post will be about their prschool, the Regenbogenland or Rainbowland.
