Our Christmas tree cutting adventure.

Today was the day, we got up early so we could get in and out of the place where you are supposed to be able to cut a tree by yourself with the kids. We were hoping for pony rides as well, but found out they will be only next week, of well. But we had fun selecting and cutting the tree down ourselves. Its amazing how much fun this can be with kids. :-)So here are some pics...

Chris and Anna in the little train on our way down to the field of Christmas trees.... it was bumpy so the pics are a bit off.... :-)

Yes that is the tree we chose and here is Chris,Anna and Lysa at work.

Thats it took about 3 minutes and that was that.

Lysa and Chris  on our ride back!

Done! Isn't it beautiful? All the trimmings are handmade by one of the Mueller women! :-)

And in the dark..... Or almost dark.
We had an all around fun day today and really got our Advent/Christmas season going!

  1. Your tree looks great and I LOVE your decorations. I thought you said you were hand making them. They look like something out of a magazine!!! Nice job Mueller Women!

Going to cut down a tree seems really fun. I think we might try that in a year or two. We're going to decorate tonight. The girls think that if we decorate, Christmas is that night! :)

  2. Yes our stuff is handmade but mostly by Mom and its really easy too. Most of the kids stuff is from last year when they were in ccbc...its ornaments made from cinnamon and glue or other wooden ones colored by the kids. Love your tree too.
