Its time to blog again....

It has been a while since I blogged and I just realized that two weeks have just raced bye. Here we are already in the second week of June.

• I have run another 10k race and was able to improve my time by a minute at least and got again a second place, this time in the Athena category. This is the category for all women who are over 150 pounds!!!! Athena comes from the city of Athens, right? Here is a fun tidbid, i used to call my big fat legs, Greek Pillars, like the pillars of the Temples in Athens. :-) Cool, right? Hope you get a laugh out of this one. 
• Story time has started again and we are driving once a week to the Library and have fun there.
• Beach time and swimming has to happen at least once a day for Anna!!! Yeah!!! She is getting better and better at it. So much fun to watch her.

Finally the Adoption and Foster Care ministry has had its first initial meeting and the next one is on the calendar. Yeah! So glad its getting to move forward now.

But lets face it, things kind of calm down a bit over Summer and this is very good since its way to early way to hot! :-)

Lysa and Anna are finally really getting into one another.There are sweet kisses and hugs in the mornings and evenings and lots of interaction for the rest of the day. They even start to play together!
