And here goes July......

This years summer is just zooming bye. On the one side its great, since the last summer wasn't that easy and this year seems just so much better, on the other side the girls are growing up so fast that I am starting to think about ways to hold on to those sweet moments. Anna has one more year of preschool and than she is off to kindergarten. She is ready now, but Mom isn't. :-)
Anyway, we had it really hot lately so we stayed inside. So eventually the kids creativeness has to keep them busy. Anna came up with some interesting things. One day she created her own High Heels by taping some blocks to her heels or she talks to her "people" and scolds them etc. She is all imagination.

 Anna decided she wanted her big horse to have a baby, so she just taped a small one to the big one! :-) That birth was relatively easy! :-)

And than there are the many different disguises/dress ups she comes up with..... this one was one of my favorite! A very hip and modern Fairy! :-)

Lysa is surprising me too every day. The other day started to put the blocks in the right slots and played for a while with the blocks. She is so different than Anna was. Lysa isn't about books or stories and pretend play. She loves to go and discover,investigate and take things apart. She loves the blocks, legos, puzzles and everything in my tupperware cabinet. She also likes to imitate Anna. If Anna runs around with her purse, she wants one too. I guess this is the start of playing together! :-) 

Lysa's hair is growing and so I tried the other day to put pigtails in. It worked but it took her only 5 minutes and they were out again...... :-(
